Would you say there’s a certain point in a new relationship where both partners know whether it will last long-term? Why or why not?

In my experience, many couples who I’ve interviewed that are in successful long-term relationships claimed they knew right away their partner was “the one.” If you know precisely the kind of person, you’re looking for, and you meet someone who checks all your required boxes for compatibility, there’s a higher likelihood he/she is a keeper. If you’re unsure of yourself, lack a lot of dating experience and may be unclear about your desired preferences, you may struggle with knowing if your relationship will last long-term.
